iWeb/Connect
If you turn on MuchMusic, or the radio, or your iPod, you're likely to hear T.I. and Justin singing about how 'The old me is dead and gone'. It's a song about turning your back on a hurtful way of living, about making better choices, about finding hope in a new way of living in the future. It's really not that different then a night at iWeb/Connect.

You see, iWeb/Connect is about an excitingly new, different way of doing life and seeing the world. Instead of seeing life as all about 'me', we see the world as all about 'us'. It's about becoming people who see the world as bigger then themselves, who know this world is broken but that God is trying to put this planet back together and is inviting us to be a part restoring it. It's about learning to be people who stand for peace not violence. People who stand against injustice, who bring love to the world, not bitterness, revenge or hate. People who bring healing, not hurt or conflict. It's about being people who make a difference in this world.

The key to all of this is our Thursday night events when we get together to play, discuss life issues, build friendships with other students and worship God through music. From there we try and find ways to actually live this new life out in the real world. Since 2009 our group raised over $20,000 to help dig wells around the world in villages where there was no access to clean drinking water as part of the Life: Just Add Water Campaign. Things like that are what this new life is all about.
