Around The World
Here at PSPT we feel that it is essential for us as disciples of Jesus to serve our global community. As a church, we hope to help open people's eyes to global needs and facilitate practical ways for people to help serve the whole planet. We certainly can't meet every need but we believe that every little bit helps. One need we see around the world is the need for everyone to hear good news of Jesus so that they can know His love for them. In response to this need, our church community directly supports missionaries in 6 different countries including Kenya, Siberia, Malawi, and Cambodia. We also give financial support to our District and National PAOC affiliates to use for the purpose of bringing the good news of Jesus around the world.

Another need we see is the lack of clean drinking water in many parts of the world. Every day around the world 5,000 children die from a lack of access to clean drinking water. The kids in our iWeb/connect group have been inspired to do something about this situation and have enlisted the help of the whole church community in responding to this global crisis. Together, we have partnered with the Life: Just Add Water campaign to help build 26 wells in 12 different countries so that the people of those communities will have clean drinking water.

We are also involved in other global initiatives like the Watoto Village of Hope and the Samaritan's Purse: Operation Christmas Child. In addition to all of these formal initiatives and partnerships, our goal is to foster an awareness and passion for the needs of people around the world so that as individuals we will make choices and find ways to serve people around the world. As a result, our church is serving the world in so many ways as people in our church find their own methods in their own lives to serve. Together and as individuals we are striving to serve our global community.
